We made Chicken Rice Patties. We had to cook a raw chicken breast in the pan. I was in charge of this. This was my first experience with raw chicken. I managed to cook the chicken to the right time. We needed to chop up the spring onions and grate the carrot and mozzarella. We used the right boards and knives to make these. We worked well as a team to complete the food. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the food, I thought there was too much carrot.
Health and Safety is important in the food industry as chefs use a number of utensils that if used wrong can be dangerous and harmful. They can cause others harm as well as they can put germs into the food and give customers food poisoning.

Guidelines we used were:
- Check chicken with thermometer to make sure its the right temperature
- Use the right boards and knives
- Tied hair up and washed hands
I was surprised that I could cook raw chicken to the right temperature.
I would change the recipe because I did not like the food
