- The mathematical ideas and concepts that I learned was how angles are related in circles and what older mathematicians contributed to maths. I never really related angles with circle as they have no corners, but I learnt how angles are inside the circles. I learnt about what old mathematicians contributed to maths, and how their ideas are still used today.
- I still have questions about angles in circles as I still don't really understand how it works.
- The new vocabulary that I have learnt is:
- Pythagoras Theorem: The theory created by Pythagoras states the relationships between the sides of a right triangle.
Golden Ratio: 1:1:618 - The similarities between M.C Escher and Egyptians is that they both used mathematical terms and concepts to create artwork. The Egyptians used maths to create the pyramids and other structures like the sphinx. M.C Escher used mathematical theories to create artwork. The main theory he used was tessellations.
- My strength was the presentations. I worked quickly and managed to only take 3 days out of the 7 days given to complete both presentations. My weakness was being able to use the Geogebra tools t create the diagrams.
Angles In Geometry
your gooooood at math (=
ReplyDeleteWay better than mine (I learnt almost nothing that geogebra site is horrible and why is slides part of maths??)
ReplyDeleteIt's very detailed and definitely established what you learned with in the week
I have nothing to say to help since it looks perfect in my eyes
(Why do teachers make us do this??)
very well explained !
ReplyDeleteNIce work
